Stars in my eyes

A few hours later and I am a little wiser about the wonderful Save for Web function in Photoshop. Not bad eh? These fractal-like stars are quite amazing, really, being nothing more than a coordinate system of straight lines they at first form a simple concave star; then, if anti-aliased, they just look damn cool. However, artifacts occur due to image compression, so some pretty interesting "mutations" in internal shape can occur. Since these artifacts occur symmetrically, the results are quite stunning.
